Dear Friends of 360,
More than 150 guests gathered at Gallery One in downtown San Francisco for the annual "Wings of Hope" gala in October. The event raised more than $40,000 for the HIV Care Center. Dr. Eric Goosby, CEO and Chief Medical Officer of Pangaea Global AIDS Foundation and a clinician at 360, was honored for his dedication to the fight against HIV. "This is a special award to me because it is a hometown award and recognition from my fellow colleagues at UCSF means the most to me," Dr. Goosby shared with the crowd when receiving the award.
Volunteers spent more than six months in the planning and development of the gala event. Chef Mark Dommen of One Market restaurant, recent recipient of a coveted Michelin star, served as chef du cuisine and provided guests with a delectable selection of foods ranging from caviar to rack of lamb at a reduced cost in support of the practice. "The food was absolutely wonderful and it was a truly great event for everyone" said Doris Spitzig, UCSF retiree and gala volunteer.
KGO anchor Cheryl Jennings and KPIX reporter Liam Mayclem served as masters of ceremonies for the evening’s festivities which included a performance by jazz performer Frankye Kelly. "We are tremendously grateful to the community for the support shown to us", added Dr. John. "It was a great night for 360, our staff and patients."

Warmest regards,

Malcolm John, M.D., M.P.H.
